How Sunderland Electric works with general contractors, developers and owners, from bid day to turnover.
1. Preconstruction and pricing
We price plan-and-spec bids and work with project teams earlier in design. We review drawings for coordination problems and offer value-engineering options, such as service sizing, metering layout and material alternates, before they turn into change orders.
2. Scheduling and manpower
We build our schedule around yours, with crews led by licensed electricians and staffed to hit rough-in, inspection and energization milestones. On multifamily jobs we sequence floor by floor so other trades keep moving.
3. Procurement
Long-lead equipment like switchgear, meter centers and fixtures is identified and released early, so material is on site when the schedule calls for it.
4. Inspections and turnover
We coordinate inspections with the local building officials, test and label our systems, and close out with as-builts and documentation for the owner.
