Sunderland Electric builds the electrical systems for student housing and university residence projects in Connecticut, including work for Yale in New Haven.

Built around the academic calendar
Residence halls have a hard deadline: students move in on a fixed date. We plan manpower, material procurement and inspections backward from that date so rooms are energized, tested and ready on time.
Our scope
- Service, distribution and metering
- Room and suite wiring, lighting and controls
- Fire alarm and life-safety systems
- Low-voltage pathways for data, access control and security
- Common areas, study lounges and site lighting
The same crews and processes behind our multifamily work, where we have built more than 1,000 apartment units, carry over directly to student housing.
