Careers — Electrician Jobs in Connecticut

Sunderland Electric is hiring for multifamily, mixed-use and commercial projects across Connecticut.

  • Connecticut E-1 / E-2 electricians
  • Foremen
  • Project managers and estimators

Our crews build apartment buildings, mixed-use and retail projects from rough-in to final: service and switchgear, unit wiring, lighting, fire alarm and low voltage. Field roles work on local job sites in the New Haven and Hartford areas, with no overnight travel. Office roles price, plan and run those same projects alongside the field.

Why electricians join us

Steady, local work

Full-time, year-round projects in the New Haven and Hartford areas. You sleep in your own bed every night: no overnights, no long hauls, and a pipeline of apartment and commercial work lined up ahead.

Competitive pay

Competitive pay based on experience. We reward people who show up, do quality work and take ownership of their jobs, and we review pay as you grow with the company.

Benefits package

Health, dental, vision and life insurance, so you and your family are covered while you focus on the work.

Retirement

A 401(k) with an employer match, so every paycheck also builds toward your future.

Time off

Paid time off and paid holidays, because time with family and a real break matter as much as the work.

Room to grow

Real paths into foreman, estimating and project management. Build new skills in fire alarm, data and access control, and run your own crew when you’re ready.

Varied projects

Apartment buildings from 24 to 270+ units, plus retail, healthcare, federal and industrial work. No two jobs are the same, and you’ll see a project through from switchgear to final.

A crew that has your back

Owner-operated since 2004. You’re a name, not a number: the owner knows his crews, safety comes first, and we back our people.
